Family Tree is free for your first two generations, no card needed. Yearly Book is free to start — upload photos and notes all year at no cost.

Subscribe to open the full workshop
A monthly plan removes the generation limit and unlocks the full building experience: Family Tree is $9.99/mo (or $79/yr, saving vs. paying monthly) and includes AI & research credits that refresh monthly plus one extra generation of research depth. Yearly Book is $2.99/mo. The subscription lets you build — it does not by itself unlock print or a clean download.

Activate a package to keep it
When you're ready to keep your work, activate a package at `/billing` (from $199 for Family Tree, from $54.99 for Yearly Book). This is the only thing that unlocks a clean PDF export and physical print — the subscription alone never does.

Add extras when you want them
Optional à la carte add-ons include an animated portrait ($45), Premium Archive Search ($19), a framed wall print ($149), AI-written captions ($19), and extra printed copies ($49). Add any of these from the relevant project tab or at checkout.
